PUBLIC LAUNCH OF PROJECT – WEBSITE GOES LIVE
We are going public with the project and our initial website goes live.
INCORPORATION OF THE RHODA MARY PROJECT
The Rhoda Mary Project is incorporated and files lodged at Companies House.
A REBUILD SITE IS FOUND
After lengthy deliberations, enquiries and suitability checks, a build site is found and negotiations in progress for the lease of the site.
FIRST SEED FUNDING
First seed funding is donated allowing the team to proceed with key activities.
FEASIBILITY STUDY AND FIRST DRAFT OF BUSINESS PLAN
A first comprehensive feasibility study and draft business plan are prepared and adopted.
FOUNDING MEMBERS MEET
After discussions with a number of interested people, a core group meets for the first time to discuss how to rescue Rhoda Mary and secure funding.
SURVEYING THE WRECK
The remains of the Rhoda Mary and her resting site are inspected and measured. Initial salvage approaches are discussed and evaluated.
THE IDEA IS BORN
The idea to rescue and rebuild the last surviving Cornish trading schooner Rhoda Mary is hatched.
